She said the cost of petrol is more there, but she wanted to do her part before we headed out for a two hour drive to Palm Springs. The BP station had literature - beautifully designed cards with soy-based inks and 'green' graphics - flowers and such, but the cool part was that you could actually plant the piece of "paper" after you read it. You soak it then plant it. I guess they're trying to do something new. Is it just LA trendy? A high profile PR gimic?
