Some gas stations have stopped showing prices on their signs. The price increases daily, and they don't want to bother changing the signs that often. Also, they are no longer really competing on price anyway. People who can afford gas are lucky to find a place that has it without a huge line. They won't drive across town to save a few cents a gallon.[Note: this is a World Without Oil post, and it is a work of fiction.]
